Salary Negotiations are the most hated topic for me both as an employer and as an employee. I read a lot of the sentiments people have shown on this topic, but I have a simpler thought process.
From an employee perspective: If I have to keep fighting to get the right salary, how can I put my trust in any system in place in the Org.
From an employer perspective: If I am out to shortchange my employees and I am forcing them to negotiate even for basic stuff like salary, I am building an environment in which is competitive first and collaborative later.
