Good flow of the article however just pointing out a fact. If you are passionate more towards technical work then management and management is what you do due to the demand of role, then i believe it was aright call on there part as well as right for you coz this way you can find someone place else where work would be more tech focused and the company and find someone with more inclination towards management. Win win for both. I don’t call it a sad ending but rather a good call from companies side if they were clear on what they wanted.
